Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security. A bid security shall be a Bid bond, certified check, bank draft, or cashier's check in an amount of 5% of the contract total. The successful bidder shall furnish a satisfactory performance bond within ten (10) business days after notification of the bid award in an amount not to exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price. The bond must be with a bonding company acceptable to the Village of Glendale Heights. Failure to furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the period specified shall be cause for rejection of the bid. The Village of Glendale Heights reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Appointments to be scheduled February 20 - February 26, 2024 The Sports Hub, GH20 Aquatic Center is a seasonal public pool facility with a variety of amenities, including a FlowRider Surf Simulator, Twin Water Slides, Zero Depth Pool (easy entry), splash pad, one (1) and three (3) meter diving boards, drop slide, six (6) lane lap pool and The Dolphin Water Fountain. This bid will cover the rebuilding of the pool pumps. The base bid will consist of removing, rebuilding and reinstalling two (2) pumps utilized for circulation. Option 1 will consist of removing, rebuilding and reinstalling two (2) pumps utilized for the water slides and plunge pool. Option 2 and Option 3 will consist of removing, rebuilding and reinstalling one (1) pump each used for the other water activities at the pool
