Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Santa Ana, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Project is subject to the Community Workforce Agreement for Construction, Repair, Upgrade, Renovation, Modernization, Expansion, Rehabilitation and Improvement Work Projects dated June 27, 2017 entered into between the District and various labor unions (the "CWA"). The successful bidder and its subcontractors will be required by the District to be bound by the terms of the CWA section 00 73 49. Prequalification is required for all contractors and subcontractors listed above, even if the amount of work or labor is not in excess of one-half of one percent (.5%) of the Bidders total bid. All prequalification questionnaires will be received until April 2, 2024 All questions regarding the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to the District. All prebid request for information/clarification questions will be received until 4:00 PM on April 5, 2024. Questions or inquiries can be sent via e-mail to construction@sausd.us The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made.
