The District will also be upgrading fiber optic networks at three (3) school sites. Any construction costs associated with wiring, conduit, pathways, drilling, tunneling, trenching, patching, city permits, etc., are the responsibility of the contractor and NOT the District. Known special considerations include: Trenching is needed for Santa Teresa (site walk scheduled) Conduit pathways may need to be installed at all three (3) sites Conduit, facilitation of re-wiring of new fiber, some old low voltage cables may need to be removed in order to accommodate new cables for Piedmont Hills (site walk scheduled) All work to be coordinated with the IT Department for Santa Teresa, Oak Grove, Piedmont Hills High School (site walk scheduled) Contractors are allowed to bid on all or part of the project Please ensure you review the E-Rate Eligible Category 2 Products and Services for additional specific information and requirements.
