Site work and paving for a civil project in Olathe, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of April 22, 2024, the project was awarded to McAnany Construction, Inc. but the awarded amount is not available.** The work consists of the following: Mill and overlay on Sheridan Street (Dennis Avenue to Mur-Len Road) including base and subgrade repairs (as needed), concrete curb and sidewalk replacement, installation of ADA compliant sidewalk ramps, installation of an 8' wide shared use path in select locations, streetlighting, signal detection replacement, placement of pavement markings, storm sewer improvements, and installation of approximately 3,700' of waterline. Mill and overlay on Santa Fe Street (I-35 to Mur-Len Road) including signal detection replacement and placement of pavement markings. The City of Olathe, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Olathe, Kansas, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
