Estimated Costs of Construction: BRIMFIELD WATER TREATMENT PLANT FILTER IMPROVEMENTS: $275,000.00 Proposals will be received for the following items of work: BRIMFIELD WATER TREATMENT PLANT FILTER IMPROVEMENTS The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace aggregate media, air scour piping/supports, and baffle plate nozzles for (4) Pressure Filters as indicated on the drawings and specifications. Brimfield Water Treatment Plant is located at 3785 Grace Drive, Brimfield, Portage County, Ohio The Bid Guarantee is conditioned to provide that if the Bid is accepted and awarded, the Bidder will enter into a contract with the County and will file a Performance Bond as required. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract price for the faithful performance of the Contract. If the Bidder selects "Bid Guarantee" Option A, the Bidder may use this Bond as the Performance Bond. All questions shall be directed to the Portage County Water Resources Department in writing to aneff@portageco.com. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the documentation and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The bidder shall purchase the plans and a contract book to become a qualified participant before final bid submittal. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than one hundred eighty (180) calendar days after the "Notice to Proceed" is issued. The Contractor shall familiarize himself with all of Section 20, including Information and Instructions to Bidders and Special Construction Requirements prior to bidding. The Portage County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids.
