Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
UTK 11th Street Pedestrian Bridge Repair The 11th Street Pedestrian Bridge and Parking Garage were built in 2004. The bridge spans Cumberland Avenue and connects the parking garage to the Hilt at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. The bridge is constructed of steel framing with a 5-1/2" concrete slab on a composite metal deck. The bridge has a total length of 173'-4" and an out-to-out width of 16'-0". The center span of the bridge is supported by (4) square concrete piers on both sides of the bridge.
