This project consists of supplying all labor, material, and equipment, for repairing and resealing cracks in pavements in District 14 according to the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction 2024 and modifications listed in these contract documents. supplying all labor, material, and equipment, for repairing and resealing cracks in pavements in District 14 according to the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction 2024 and modifications listed in these contract documents. ODOT will provide all crack sealing material for the Contract and ODOT will provide all traffic Control. Requests for clarification, requests for change, and protests of this Addendum are due no later than: 02/29/2024 @ 12:00 PM. Each Offer shall be accompanied by (submitted via upload in online except as provided in Section D.4) a certified or cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, or Bid Bond payable to the State of Oregon in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Offer The selected Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the total amount (100%) of the awarded Contract Price, executed in favor of the State of Oregon, to ensure faithful performance of the Contract and payment for labor and materials Bidder may submit a cashier's check or certified check in lieu of all or a portion of the required performance bond. If Bidder plans to submit a cashier's check or certified check in lieu of the required bonds, please contact the Single Point of Contact for instructions. The purpose of this ITB is to establish a Contract for supplying all labor, material, and equipment, for repairing and resealing cracks in pavements in District 14 according to the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction 2024 and modifications listed in these contract documents. ODOT will provide the crack sealing material for the Contractor's use and ODOT will provide all traffic Control on the project for the benefit of ODOT. The work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction Work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents. Start Date: Not Before April 15th 2024. Final Completion: 10/31/2024 Failure to achieve Final Completion by the time specified above for Final Completion will result in damage to the State of Oregon. Since actual damage will be difficult to determine, it is agreed that the Contractor shall pay to the State of Oregon, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, $600.00 per calendar day for each day elapsed in excess of the Final Completion date specified in Section 3 of this Agreement until Final Completion is achieved. ODOT may reject all Offers for good cause upon its finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
