City of Saint Paul Parks department is looking for bids on Como Streetcar Station Roof Replacement Q And A Close: 03/06/2024 02:00:00 PM Responsible contractor requirement for construction estimated to exceed $50,000: pursuant to minn. Statutes sec. 16c.285, subd. 5, a prime contractor shall include a verification of compliance (under subd. 4) which lists all of the first-tier subcontractors it intends to retain for work on the project. Project Summary: Removal and replacement of existing roof system consisting of: 1. Existing Roof System -35 Squares-Premanufactured metal panel roof system, felt underlayment and insulated wood panel substrate. 2. New Roof System - Tear off existing metal panel roof system, underlayments, plywood and any wet or damaged insulation. Replace any wet or deteriorated insulation and install: 22 ga. Premanufactured metal panel roof system, over slip sheet over selfadhered bituthane underlayment, over 3/4 " plywood sheathing, over 2" polyisocyanurate insulation. 3. Provide new 24 ga. gi. color-coated metal counter flashings and accessories to match. Details include but are not limited to: eave edge, rake edge, ridge detail, field stone wall details, pipe penetration and metal saddles. 4. Remove existing fascia/cornice, repair metal as necessary. Clean, prime and paint to match. Properly reinstall to match existing fascia.
