Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work, in general, consists of the removal of existing asphalt path and site furniture. Installation of asphalt paths, unit paver lookouts, pathway lighting, specialty/feature lighting, MSE retaining walls and lookouts with guardrails, irrigation, topsoil placement and grading, sodding, planting, installation of Owner provided site furnishings and signage, select removals and/or pruning of plant material and establishment maintenance, in a highly visible and popular riverbank park. The site is located in Kiwanis Memorial Park in the downtown area of the City of Saskatoon, directly behind the Bessborough Hotel (river side). The work shall conform to the City of Saskatoon's Pedestrian Cyclist Accommodation in Work Zones and Detours Policy, City of Saskatoon Standard Construction Specifications & Drawings' for infrastructure and City of Saskatoon Standard Construction Specifications: Parks. The work occurs in areas that have know soil contamination and hazardous materials and must conform to the related specification and regulatory requirements. As the work zone is situated in a mature public park, signage, site fencing, pedestrian detours, access and staging are important components of the work.
