TransGas Limited is looking to establish a pool of Electrical & Instrumentation Contractors in the province of Saskatchewan to provide Electrical and Instrumentation construction and Fabrication services. The contractor will supply labor and/or materials. Vendor response will be expected to demonstrate relevant experience with electrical installations for natural gas compressor stations, natural gas storage facilities, natural gas metering, or equivalent (as deemed by SaskEnergy). TransGas Limited is looking to establish a pool of Electrical & Instrumentation Contractors in the province of Saskatchewan to provide Electrical and Instrumentation construction and Fabrication services. The contractor will supply labor and/or materials. Vendor response will be expected to demonstrate relevant experience with electrical installations for natural gas compressor stations, natural gas storage facilities, natural gas metering, or equivalent (as deemed by SaskEnergy). The RFP will be based on three service categories, Electrical and Instrumentation Construction services, Lead Hand services, and Fabrication services. Electrical and Instrumentation Construction Services Electrical instrumentation services to include procurement of materials and installation of electrical and instrumentations based on AFC drawings. The Company will request electrical or instrumentation construction services on an "as required" basis. Lead Hand Services The intent of Lead Hand Services is to provide the on-site supervision and management of the Work including but not limited to labor and materials. Direction and guidance will still be provided by the Company to ensure the Work is completed according to the Company standards and specifications. Fabrication Services As specified by the Company, the Contractor will be requested to fabricate (assemble) electrical or instrumentation equipment packages, as described but not limited to the two examples below. 1 An electrical skid building complete with building, electrical distribution equipment, controls equipment, domestic heating and lighting, etc. 2 A controls panel package, including panel, PLC, finger channel, terminal blocks, power supplies, wiring, etc. Work (Projects) will be requested on an "as required" basis. Mandatory requirements for this RFP are as follows: o Successful proponent (company that is awarded a contract) must self-perform the work; o Successful proponent (company that is awarded a contract) must have previous recent experience completing similar services; o TransGas may, in its sole discretion, reject the proposal if the proponent, or any member of the proponent, is currently engaged in a dispute with SaskEnergy/TransGas involving mediation, arbitration or litigation. o The Contractor, if requested, must provide a copy of their Electrical License issued by the Saskatchewan government, confirming provincial authorization to conduct the business of a full electrical contractor in the Province of Saskatchewan; o Journeymen must hold a valid Saskatchewan and/or Inter-provincial Electrical Journeyman's license to be presented if requested.
