Reference Number 0000264907 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/28 12:00:00 AM EST Western University is inviting General Contractors and Structural Steel Subcontractors to submit Statement of Qualification for the Dental Sciences Pedestrian Bridge Replacement. Western University proposes to replace the existing Dental Sciences Pedestrian Bridge located in the City of London at the Dental Sciences Building. The existing pedestrian bridge was constructed in 2001 and is constructed of hollow steel sections welded together in a truss configuration and includes a covered roof and floor deck. It is approximately 2.2 metres wide and spans approximately 30 metres from the upper parking lot to the top floor of the Dental Sciences Building. The tender for the replacement will include two options,- one that is similar to the existing (open on the sides) and a second option that will enclose the bridge with glazing. Both options will include in-floor radiant heating/snow melt systems. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
