Renovation of an educational facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of April 25, 2025, construction is underway. The work includes but is not limited to the electrical scope of work for the following: new retrofit-roof for Building 100; Complete Renovations of Building 200 and Building 600; Replacement of Mechanical and Exterior Improvements at Building 300 and Building 500; Partial Renovation of Building 400 to Include Complete Renovation of Wellness Area and Automotive Lab with Exterior Improvements; Renovation of Building 700 Classroom, Storage, Cafetorium Spaces; coordination and supervision of the entire project; and all related work. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Shelton State Community College in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds, insurance in compliance with requirements, and verification of E-Verify enrollment (also with Proposals), will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technical errors, and/or abandon this process if, in their judgment, the Owner's best interests will be promoted. *Interested bidders/subcontractors are to contact Robins & Morton Group to be added to the bid list.
