Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Martinez, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days All Bidders must have a State of Georgia General Contractor's License and a Columbia County business license. Bid Description: The project includes improvements to the Columbia County Racquet Center located at 421 The Pass in Augusta, Georgia. These improvements include minor grading, construction of ten (10) acrylic surface asphalt pickleball courts, installation of pickleball court equipment and fencing with acoustic dampening screens, construction of concrete sidewalks, and full depth asphalt replacement with applicable striping of a section of existing parking lot at The Pass entrance. This project also entails installation of electrical lighting at both parking lots at The Pass and Cedar Rock Drive entrances, and the pickleball courts. Installation of surface drainage structures and an underground storm conveyance system, sanitary sewer services, and water utilities is proposed surrounding the pickleball courts. Landscaping surrounding pickleball courts area is also included in the improvements Add Alternate #1 of this project includes the demolition of the parking lot island at the Cedar Rock Parking Lot, full depth replacement of the existing island with asphalt, partial milling of the existing asphalt surface, asphalt overlay, and striping of the overlay asphalt surface. Bids for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the electronic forms provided. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of Columbia County, Georgia, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for Columbia County, Georgia. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Columbia County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. All questions should be submitted online via online Interactive before 5:00 PM E.T. on March 13, 2024, and receipt of any/all addenda must be acknowledged prior to contract award.
