The City of Red Deer has roughly 300 stormwater outfalls to the river and creeks within the City limits. In 2013, major flooding occurred on the Red Deer River. In 2014, 145 of the outfalls were inspected to determine their current condition. Of these, Outfalls 103, 132, 195 and 197 were negatively impacted by the 2013 flood based on orthophoto analysis and were chosen for repairs.
