A site-visit to view the place of performance for this requirement is scheduled for 13 March 2024, at 1 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST). Site visit requests can be made only to the contracting specialist. Requests for site visit must be made no later than COB 11 March, 2024. The Contractor shall complete the Base Access Memorandum attached to this solicitation. The forms shall be emailed to the Contracting Specialist. The Base Access Memorandum will then be submitted to Security Forces by the Contract Specialist. Security Forces will perform a background check on all contractors visiting Eglin AFB for the site visit. Contractor shall possess a picture ID at all times on Eglin AFB. All offeror/contractor personnel are required to notify, via telephone or email, the Contracting Specialist if planning on attending the site visit. The vendor shall install a total of 21 sound transducers on the interior windows, one in each window. The vendor will also install one white noise generator, one amplifier and one rack mounted volume control. A transducer will be installed on each of the 21 windows in the room and be routed back to the new white noise system enclosure. All cabling will be plenum rated and supported by J-hooks above the ceiling. All cabling transitioning from above the ceiling to below the ceiling will be made via wiremold. Any desired conduit for this cabling will be provided by the customer. Any needed power supplies and/or batteries shall be provided by the vendor. Vendor shall test all installed components for functionality and government acceptance.
