**As of May 29, 2024 project has been awarded to Hejka and Sons' Construction, LLC amounting $47,036.45.** The City of East Jordan, MI (Owner) is seeking quotes for the redecking and railing improvement to the boardwalk located on the Jordan River at Sportsman's Park in East Jordan. The work, materials and estimated quantities are depicted in the attached project drawings and bid form below. The drawings will be used as a basis for project installation and minimum material requirements. No other drawings or specifications will be provided for the project. The agreement between Owner and Contractor will be formalized using the attached EJCDC C522 Contract for Construction of a Small Project document. Please review this draft document as it includes specific requirements and information including but not limited to project completion dates, liquidated damages, retainage, as well as insurance requirements. Stipulations of this contract will be required for involvement in the project. Quotations provided by the awarded contractor will be included in this agreement as a Unit price for the work. The work consists of redecking the existing boardwalk, add railing, and make railing modification/upgrades to the existing boardwalk railing where called out for on the plans. Coordination will be with the lighting contractor (name to be provided once quote is awarded A unit price is requested, and to be provided in quote or bid form by the contractor to the Owner via email. A. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, services, and documentation necessary to construct the Project defined herein. The Work may include related services such as testing, start-up, and commissioning, all as required by the Contract Documents. B. The Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Project is generally described as follows: 1. Sportsman's Park Timber Boardwalk Redecking and Railing Improvement work which consists of Redecking of boardwalk at Jordan River, boardwalk railing additions, and railing post additions. 2. The Site of the Work includes property, easements, and designated work areas described in greater detail in the Contract Documents but generally located at 85 Bridge Street, East Jordan MI.
