The MDOT State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a contractor to perform Permanent Patching with 12.5 MM and/or 19.0 mm Hot Mix Asphalt at various locations in Talbot County, for a period not to exceed twelve (12) months. The Contractor shall furnish the Contract Manager with the name, address, and phone number of an individual in his firm who can be contacted at any time to schedule or revise the work schedule. Contractor must arrive at the starting point of work at the start time established by the Contract Manager. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this contract. No Pre-Bid meeting will be held on this IFB. However, vendors may call Mr. Todd with any questions before and after bid opening The main purpose of this procurement is for Patching various locations within Talbot County by removing existing material, preparing subgrade for patching, and patching area with a minimum of 3" to a maximum of 12" of 12.5MM and/or 19.0 MM Hot Mix Asphalt to meet the grade with the existing roadway. This may include saw cutting the roadway if necessary. Crack seal all payment joints around new patch area.
