Electrician Services. Response time on all emergency repairs shall be within a 24 hour period with the repair being completed within 48 hours. The initial contract period will be from May 1, 2024 until April 30, 2025. Pending Board of Trustees approval of the contract, it is expected that the Notice to Proceed will be issued by April 12, 2024. Question Deadline 03/07/2024 Deadline to submit questions to acanada@worwic.edu March 14, 2024 The College will issue an Addendum answering all questions. Work will be considered incomplete or unsatisfactory when any one of the following conditions exists. a. The work was not performed in strict accordance with the IFB and Scope of Work. b. The work was not performed within the allotted time frame. c. The work as required by the IFB and Scope of Work was not entirely completed. The above is not exhaustive of all conditions that determine non-performance of work. Determination of non-performance of work may be grounds for the contractor's termination from the contract. The College has a need for electrician services for various indoor and outdoor projects at the main campus in Salisbury, MD and an off-campus location in Berlin, MD. The intent of this IFB is for bidders to provide the College with unit prices for labor by qualified electricians to perform work as specified by a representative of the College. The College intends to enter into an agreement with two contractors to provided professional electrician services on an as-needed basis with no minimum quantity guarantee. Wor-Wic Community College reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in whole or in part, or to waive any technicality it deems in the best interests of the College.
