Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sunbury, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Board of Education of the Big Walnut Local School District (the District) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for asphalt paving of roadways, seal coat, and striping of the main drive and parking lot of Big Walnut Middle School (BWMS) at 555 S. Old 3C Highway in Sunbury, Ohio (See attached map. Red area). The District is also requesting proposals for alternative solutions to paving, sealing, and stripping of the two other lots at Big Walnut Middle School (See attached map, Blue areas). Questions regarding this RFP should be directed in writing to James Hall (Director of Facilities) at jameshall@bwls.net or 740-965-3010 no later than March 15, 2024. Work may begin on May 27, 2024, and must be completed by August 2, 2024. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or parts of proposals, and to waive any informalities or irregularities that occur, and select the proposal(s) that, in its opinion, best serves the needs of the District within budget limitations, regardless of whether the proposal is the lowest cost proposal. Please list your total bonding capacity and available bonding capacity. A Bond from a surety covering the proposal bid amount to bond the Work will be required from the vendor who is awarded the project.
