Period of Performance: 120 days after the NTP is Issued RFQ 36C26024Q0335 is Small Business Set-aside. All offers must be registered in SAM under NAICS Code 811310 under size Standard $12,500,000.00. No site visit will be granted for RFQ 36C26024Q0335. Question-and-Answer period closes 28 February 2024 at 4:30PM PST. Specific Tasks: The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and
supervision to complete the following tasks:
o Boiler Plant will perform LOTO on boiler contractor will have to walk the LOTO down to
verify and put control lock on LOTO box.
o Boiler Plant will open back door and remove burner.
o Contractor will remove old refractory 52 liner tiles and 35 throat tiles.
o Contractor will dispose of old refractory.
o Contractor will clean exposed surface before installing new refractory.
o Contractor will provide new refractory.
o Contractor will install new refractory 52 liner tiles and 35 throat tiles.
o Contractor will clean interior of after refractory replaced.
o Boiler plant will inspect new refractory before closing of boiler.Boiler plant will reinstall burner.
o Boiler plant will close back door of boiler.
o Boiler plant will remove LOTO.
o Vendor needs to provide direction on how boiler should be warmed up to operating
temperature after refractory replacement.
o All work to be performed during normal business hours
