The City of Harbor Beach is requesting sealed bids for contractor and material for the Water Front Enhancement Project. Contractors will be sought for the following scope items of the project: - Asphalt for access road, parking lot and bike / pedestrian path - Sandblasting Bids for the following list of materials: - Steel for pier - Lumber for pier deck The City is also soliciting proposals for components for a kayak launch. State and Federal funds are being used to assist in construction of this project and relevant State and Federal requirements will apply. All contractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott Larsen Civil Rights Act) and 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), as amended. All contracts must contain a covenant by the contractor, subcontractor, or supplier not to discriminate against an employee or applicant for employment with respect to hire, tenure, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status or a disability that is unrelated to the individuals ability to perform the duties of a particular job or position. The City of Harbor Beach reserves the right to accept or reject all bids and to accept the bid determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Harbor Beach.
