Site work for a water / sewer project in Princeton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids for: Water System Improvements Distribution System The project consists of the construction of the Princeton Water System Improvements: Distribution System will generally include the following: 1. The project consists of the construction of approximately 4,918 lineal feet of six-inch PVC watermain, 8 new fire hydrant assemblies, reconnection to the existing lines at the end of each improvement segment, reconnection to existing service connections, and all the necessary appurtenances for complete and usable watermains. All equipment, materials and workmanship must be in accordance with the drawings and specification in the office of the McClure. Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier's checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc. Questions on the Bid Documents from general contractors and sub-contractors will be answered by the Macon, MO office of the Consulting Engineer. All questions must be submitted using the Request for Information Form (RFI) included in the specifications to Susan Copenhaver of the consulting engineer via e-mail at scopenhaver@mcclurevision.com. Any explanation or interpretation made will be in the form of a written response on the RFI form or by Addendum issued by the Consulting Engineer and furnished to all Bidders identified as plan holders of record. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Request for consideration of "equivalent" products will only be considered in writing from general contractors and subcontractors. No requests for alternate or "equivalent" products will be considered the ten (10) days prior to Bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements contained in the Instruction to Bidders regarding compliance with Executive Order 12549 - Debarment and Suspension and Minority Business Enterprise Utilization. All bidders are required to make the six good faith efforts to assure compliance with the States fair share goals and are required to comply with EEO regulations. Nondiscrimination in Employment - Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. PRINCETON WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS: DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ITB -1 MEC Project No. 190692-000 January 2023 This project is financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, by the Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving Fund and Federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri. Construction shall follow the requirements of the American Iron & Steel Provisions explained in the specifications. The City of Princeton is an Equal Opportunity Employer and invites the submission of proposals from Women and Minority Business Enterprises. Minimum wage rates for this contract shall be prevailing wage rates as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and the Davis Bacon Act, as issued by the US Department of Labor. The wage rates are set forth in the contract documents and are to be considered as a part of this Bid. The project contractor and each subcontractor shall require each on-site employee to complete the ten-hour safety program required under Section 292.675, RSMo, within 60 days of beginning any of the work on the project, if he or she has not previously completed the program or does not have documentation of doing so.
