2023 Sanitary Sewer Line Extension Project. Question Deadline 03/26/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Owner and Engineer Assume No Responsibility for the Premature Opening of Any Bid Envelope Which is Not Properly Marked. Bidders Must Be Properly Licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Contractors for the Type of Work Required for This Project. Bidders Must Place Their Current Certificate of Responsibility Number on the Outside of the Envelope Containing the Bid. Bids Must Comply With the Requirements of Chapter 3, Title 31 (Sections 31-3-1, Et Seq.) of Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or by a Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid, Which Shall Be in the Form and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Information for Bidders. Each Bid Must Also Be Accompanied by Proof of the Bidder's Registration With the U.s. Government's System for Award Management (Sam) by Providing Its Unique Entity Id (Uei) Number. The Successful Bidder Will Also Be Required to Execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract, Issued by a Surety Company Licensed to Operate in the State of Mississippi.
