Site work for a road / highway in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to install new traffic signal equipment to detect transit signal priority calls for service at at-grade light rail intersections (non-gated). The new signal equipment will provide wireless light rail vehicle detection and may be used by local agencies for emergency vehicle pre-emption. Generally, the intersections are along the four different corridors, Tasman Drive (north corridor), East San Carlos (south corridor), North Capital Avenue (east corridor), and North 1st Street (west corridor). The scope of this Contract includes but is not limited to: 1. Installation of one pole mounted antenna at each location identified on the plans 2. Installation of cable in existing conduits. 3. Installation of lightning suppression unit. 4. Installation of cable grounding kit. 5. Installation and wiring of shelf mount unit as directed by plans. 6. Installation and wiring of relay switches as directed by plans. Below is a list of identified agencies having jurisdiction over the work and owning facilities in the vicinity of the work: 1. City of San Jose 2. City of Sunnyvale 3. City of Santa Clara 4. City of Milpitas 5. County of Santa Clara 6. Caltrans 7. VTA Question Submission Deadline: March 13, 2024, 2:00pm The Engineer's Estimate for this Work ranges from $190,000 to $250,000
