For purposes of this Contract, Contractor will provide ongoing vehicle lift maintenance and repair services at the VTA facilities. Certain portions of the Work will be regularly-scheduled preventive maintenance services, and certain portions of the Work will be performed on an on-call basis meaning that VTA may request unscheduled repair services or emergency callout if necessary The Work will be conducted within an operating rail yard and adjacent to and within existing shop facilities. This Work will be subject to restrictions to ensure safety and the continuing operations of the yard and shop and the light rail system. The Engineer's Estimate for this Work ranges from $2,300,000 to $2,800,000.
