The City of Penticton is requesting proposals for the supply of a waste water treatment secondary clarifier mechanism. The Penticton Advanced Waste Water Treatment Plant (AWWTP) is being upgraded to add a third secondary clarifier. The AWWTP treats municipal waste water from the City of Penticton. The secondary clarifier mechanism processes mixed liquor from Bioreactors 1 and 2. The City requires that equipment be complete with a centre drive, centre influent column supporting a revolving segmented scraper, influent feed well and flocculation centre well, and effluent weir. The secondary clarifier mechanism will be installed in a concrete structure (constructed by others) specifically designed for this purpose. The clarifiers and mechanism are uncovered and exposed to environmental conditions. The City requires a Supplier representative to verify installation, provide testing and commissioning support services, and provide applicable training to the City's staff.
