Demolition and site work for a residential development in Ingleside, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The City of Ingleside has received a Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBGDR) from the General Land Office to purchase homes affected by flooding from Hurricane Harvey. The City of Ingleside is seeking to contract with multiple qualified demolition contractors (individual/firm) to assist in demolishing 2 homes to provide relief for survivors affected by repetitive flooding. These homes are located throughout The City of Ingleside in the floodplain. This service is for the City's grant #20-066-030-C224, which will use federal funds to acquire these properties. The City shall purchase Harvey-damaged homes and gift the lots to developers for the construction of new (or rehabilitation of existing) single-family homes. The properties must be sold to income-eligible tenants. Please direct all questions in regard to this RFP to the City's grant administrator, Erin Hunsdorfer at erin@grantworks.net. The deadline for inquiries is Friday March 15th, 2024.
