The 2024-2027 Layton Bridge Preservation Will Consist of Both Specific and as-needed Repairs. The Specific Construction Repairs Are Scheduled to Be Completed in 2024. Repairs Include but Are Not Limited to, Concrete and Structural Steel Repairs to the Superstructure, Substructure, Curb and Barriers. The Extent of Future as-needed Repairs Are Subject to Future Inspection and Analysis Findings. Such as-needed Repairs Will Be Completed as Directed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Relating to Maintaining Access Across the Bridge, Which Will Include the Installation and, if Needed, the Implementation of Traffic Signals Located at the Near Side of the Tunnel and Far Side of the Bridge.
