North Chicago Water Plant Roofing Removal and Replacement Work Description: Project includes the demolition of steel overhead crane and masonry penthouse and select roof deck removal and replacement. Removal of existing roofing and installation of fleece BACK EPDM vapor retarder, new tapered insulation, ballasted and adhered 90 mil EPDM, interior and roof top HVAC renovations, roof related masonry restoration and skylight removal and replacement. The Contractor shall provide all labor, services, materials and incidentals necessary to perform all work at the North Chicago Water Plant. which is marked in the lower left-hand corner EXACTLY as follows: BID: Mr. Chris Chirikos Facilities Manager City of North Chicago North Chicago Water Treatment Plant Roofing Removal and Replacement. All bidders, prior to receiving Bidding Documents, must be either a Carlisle Centurion, Elevate Building Products Master Contractor or JM Pinnacle contractor; have five (5) years' experience in the application of fleece back membrane in full coverage spray foam adhesive, pre-qualified by the Architect, and have $10 million in umbrella excess liability insurance over primary insurance prior to obtaining Bid Documents. Pre-qualification forms are available from the Architect and must be returned for review, 100% complete, five working days prior to the Bid Opening Date. The City of North Chicago has a 20% DBE/WBE participation goal for this project.
