General Proposals must be accompanied by a deposit. The amount of the proposal deposit shall be an amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Service Provider's maximum total proposal price, payable to the Town of Falmouth, MA. The proposal's security will be retained until the successful Service Provider has executed the contract with the Town, whereupon it will be returned. If the Service Provider fails to execute the contract within 30 calendar days of the Notice of Award, the Town may annul the award and the proposal security will be forfeited. Service Providers may not withdraw their proposals for a period of 120 calendar days, after the actual date of the opening of the proposals. The successful Service Provider must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond with a surety company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The request for services proposal and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30B. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any and all proposals, or to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Falmouth. This Services Proposal shall have a time period of six months. There will not be a renewal option. Proposals are welcome from minority and female businesses.
