Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Nags Head, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project shall generally consist of the following improvements: Removal of approximately 200 l.f. of existing 6' wide elevated wood framed walkway with wheelchair bumpouts, finger piers and gazebo and replace with approximately 177 l.f. of 6' wide elevated wood framed walkway, wheelchair bumpouts, finger pier, gazebo and incidental work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities or minor defects and to reject any or all bids. The bidder to whom this project is awarded shall have until July 29, 2024 to Substantially Complete the Project. Other provisions as to time of Full Completion, project milestones, Liquidated Damages, etc. are set forth in the Contract Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder. For comparison purposes alternates will be accepted, following the order of priority established in the Bid Form, until doing so would cause the budget to be exceeded.
