The selected firm will play a pivotal role in assisting and managing ongoing projects at the Twin Chimneys Class II and III Landfills. These projects encompass a diverse array of tasks, including but not limited to the following: Preparation of construction drawings, bid oversight, and construction management for Class II and Class III landfill cells. Continued infrastructure development for the site, which may include the evaluation and potential implementation of bridges and wetland mitigation measures. Ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the groundwater monitoring system in accordance with regulatory requirements. Addressing miscellaneous permit compliance issues and conducting survey assessments to ensure regulatory adherence. Experience and past performance, including demonstration of ability to perform a variety of services associated with Classes II and III landfill construction, convenience centers, compost facilities, grant writing, strategic community communications, financial assurance, post closure models, master planning and coordination with landfill gas consultants, and remediation consultants. Specialized experience or technical expertise of the firm and its personnel in connection with South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control solid waste regulations. We are seeking a firm with demonstrated expertise and a proven track record in environmental consulting, particularly in the realm of landfill management and compliance. The successful applicant should possess the requisite knowledge, experience, and resources to effectively manage the complexities of these projects and deliver timely, high-quality results. The selected environmental engineering firm will provide comprehensive assistance to Greenville County, with one designated individual serving as the primary point of contact for interfacing with the Solid Waste Director and Environmental Engineer. Additional representatives from the firm may be involved as necessary, depending on the project requirements. Pre-Proposal Meeting A Pre-Proposal meeting is not scheduled for this project. Bonding Bonding will not be required for this project.
