Direct replacement of HVAC equipment and the upgrade of controls at Handy and La Veta elementary schools. The HVAC equipment and Control Hardware will be furnished by the owner and installed by the contractor (OFCI). A detailed list of the OFCI equipment is included in the bid documents. All additional material and labor required for the complete installation of the HVAC equipment and associated control systems that is not specifically listed in the OFCI documents is the sole responsibility of the bidding contractor. Contractor will coordinate final controls set-up and operation with Russel Sigler Commercial. A. PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: to be eligible to bid this project, the following requirements apply: i. PREQUALIFICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Submit application no later than 3/12/24 through Quality Bidders. ii. Projects exceeding $1.0 million, the prime contractor must be prequalified and provide reviewed financials. iii. Projects exceeding $10.0 million, the prime contractor must be prequalified and provide audited financials. iv. All prime contractors (A, B, or C-20) and MEP subcontractors must be prequalified for any work that requires an electrical, mechanical, and plumbing (MEP) contractors license (a C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46). v. Any bid submitted by a prime contractor or whose subcontractors are not prequalified by the Prequalification Deadline shall be deemed nonresponsive.
