All detailed questions concerning the actual bid specifications should be forwarded in writing via fax no less than five business days prior to the scheduled bid opening date. The proposed improvement is officially known as the Village ofMorton Grove 2024 Emergency LeadLine Replacement Program. This project will be financed by Village of Morton Grove funds. The Work included in this Contract shall consist of furnishing all the materials, labor, equipment and incidentals required for lead water service replacement and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement according to the Contract Documents. The work included in this Contract shall consist offurnishing all the materials, labor, equipment and incidentals required for emergency lead line replacements throughout the Village ofMorton Grove. This work shall be completed on an on-call emergency basis. In accordance with the Illinois Plumbing Code, any work located within or adjacent to the building will need to be performed by a plumber licensed to perform work in the State ofIllinois. The work included in this contract falls under that regulation. Verification that a licensed plumber is preforming or supervising the plumbing work on site will be required. The work shall be performed at various locations around the Village ofMorton Grove. Locations will be determined by Village staff. The contractor can expect a range between 1-15 water service installs per year.
