Renovation of a mixed-use development in Morton Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

A. The Project consists of the following general activities as described in the Construction Documents and Project Manual for Mechanical Equipment and Installation at Park View School, located in Morton Grove, Illinois. B. The work of the Project shall include procurement in time for delivery of mechanical unit to the school site in summer of 2024 or fall 2024 pending installation schedule. 1. The Work includes scheduling coordination with the Owner or Owners contractor(s) for site access and usage. 2. Purchase equipment in a timely manner for summer/or fall 2024 delivery and installation 3. Installation of new equipment and previously purchased chiller C. Commencement of Work: Demolition and construction to begin as noted below: 1. As early as June 3, 2024 for Base Bid A (Summer Installation) 2. As early as October 10, 2024 for Base Bid B (Fall Installation) The Board of Education, Morton Grove School District 70 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Owner. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing rate of wage to all laborers, workmen and mechanics working on public funded projects. If during the time period of work, these rate changes, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. Certificate of Insurance, as required by the Owner, will be required from the successful bidder.
