The Proposed Improvement is Officially Known as the Village of Morton Grove 2024 Concrete Replacement Program. This Project Will Be Financed by Village of Morton Grove Funds. The Work included in this Contract shall consist of furnishing all the materials, labor, equipment and incidentals required for earth excavation, sidewalk removal, sidewalk construction, sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, and pavement patching at various locations throughout the village and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement according to the Contract Documents. The right to waive any irregularity and to reject any or all bids is reserved to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Morton Grove. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and/or, to disregard any informality on the bids and bidding when, in its opinion, the best interest of the Village will be served by such action. All detailed questions concerning the actual bid specifications should be forwarded in writing via fax no less than five business days prior to the scheduled bid opening date. A bid deposit in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The bid deposit shall be in a form of Bid Bond (per the attached form), certified check drawn on, or a cashier's check issued by, a responsible Bank or Trust Company with a minimum of ten million dollars net assets and made payable to the Village.
