Fire Station Facility Renovations The Village of Morton Grove reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village. 1/11/2024 Last day to submit questions and requests for clarification. WITHDRAWAL OF BID Upon written request, bids may be withdrawn at any time prior to the Bid Opening Date and Time. Bidders withdrawing their bid prior to the date and time set for the bid opening may still submit another bid if done so in accordance with these instructions. After the bid opening time, no bid shall be withdrawn or canceled for a period of ninety (90) calendar days thereafter. The successful Bidder shall not withdraw or cancel its bid after having been notified that the Village's board of trustees have accepted said bid. 100% performance and payment bonds in the amount awarded by the respective Municipality. AWARD Award shall be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who best meets the specifications including financial capacity to perform, experience and qualifications performing similar work, and scheduling based upon the evaluation criteria specified herein. Scheduling of Work: All work for this contract shall be completed Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Unless excused in writing by the Village Administrator or his designee, all bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond in the full amount of the bid. TERM The initial term of the contract shall be 90 working days from contract execution. At the end of any contract term, the Village reserves the right to extend this contract for a period of up to sixty (60) days for the purpose of getting a new contract in place.
