Renovation of a transportation facility in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
**As of May 9, 2024, the project was awarded to CDJ Electric Plumbing and Heating in the amount of $41,725.00 for the base bid and the amount of $25,522.90 for the alternate #1 bid, resulting in a total bid amount of $67,247.90.** Bid proposals shall be submitted to the City Council in sealed envelopes clearly marked: Bid for Aberdeen Regional Airport 2024 Chilled Water Improvements. One combined bid will be accepted ñ All Mechanical, Electrical, General, labor and material required to provide a complete project. No bidder may withdraw a bid for 30 days following the bid opening without a written request explaining the cause of the withdrawal and without written consent of the Owner after reviewing the cause Liquidated damages shall be in effect for this project. See Bid Form and Instruction to Bidders for details. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashierís check or draft in the amount of 5% of the base bid plus all add alternates, or a 10% bid bond issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and made payable to the ìCity of Aberdeen, South Dakotaî. The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
