All federal, state, and local permits are not required for the Project. All interested bidders will be required to submit t he following criteria for qualification, including AIA Document A305-2020 Con tractor Qualification Statement (with Exhibits), to be evaluated by the Owner and Engineer prior to being issued Plans and Specifications. The A305-2020 document must show the Contractors ability to complete the Contract in a satisfactory manner on projects of similar scope and complexity. This Pre-Qualification Statement must be submitted and received by the Architect no later than Thursday, February 8, 2024. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum bas is by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner will provide the forms of all General Contractor bonds. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be require d for the following subcontractor: Roofing.
