The Clarke County School District is inviting bids from qualified Contractors for the ELC-East (Old Gaines) Loading Dock repair project. The location of the work is on the property of the Clarke County School District (Owner). The street address for ELC-East (Old Gaines) is 280 Gaines School Road, Athens, GA 30606. The successful Bidder shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other parts and supplies necessary to accomplish the tasks listed below. Remove existing tree stump and roots next to loading dock. Demo existing masonry wall at loading dock to accommodate repairs per sketch SK-1 and SK-2. Repair loading dock per attached sketches and notes. Provide 2 new concrete filled steel pipe bollards per the attached sketch and detail. Provide 2 new dock bumpers per sample. Remove and replace uneven concrete sidewalk as noted on the site plan and photos. GC to coordinate with owner provided testing company for soil compaction and concrete cylinder test. Concrete demo and repair work to be performed starting over Spring break beginning March 30, 2024. Tree stump removal may commence prior to that date., coordinate this work with CCSD E-Splost personnel. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive technicalities and informalities.
