Completed plans call for the addition of a 115,000-square-foot conference / convention center; for the demolition of a conference / convention center; and for site work for a conference / convention center.
Qualifications for General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) Services to construct an addition to the Three Rivers Convention Center using the procedure permitted under Chapter 39.10 of the RCW, as amended, for public works contracting in lieu of sealed bids. Question Deadline 03/08/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Any questions or requests for clarification regarding this RFQ during the submittal preparation period must be addressed in writing to Jonathan Miller jonathan.miller@turntown.com. The project consists of an approximately 115,000 sq. ft. addition to the existing convention center, including exhibit hall space, public lobby areas, back of house support spaces, and administrative space. The estimated Guaranteed Maximum Price is approximately $52M. Preconstruction is expected to start in mid-April, 2024. Early site work is expected to begin in December 2024, with construction complete in June 2026. KPFD reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs, to waive any irregularities in the SOQs received, and to accept the SOQ deemed most advantageous to KPFD. All SOQs become property of KPFD. KPFD encourages the participation of Minority Owned and Women Owned Business Enterprises in this Request for Qualifications.
