West Virginia University ("WVU" or "University") on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors to furnish and install approximately 700 sq ft., comprised of two 350 sq ft balcony sections, of new 060 MIL EPDM membrane over existing EPDM membrane, complete with all required flashing, counter-flashing, coping, fascia, and trim accessories. This will include the removal of the safety railing, applying waterblock, and reinstalling the railing. Roof to be eligible for a twenty (20) year no-dollar-limit ("NDL") warranty. Cutoff for Questions DATE: March 6, 2024 TIME: 12:00pm Questions MUST be submitted directly on the solicitation website on the Q&A Board. 1. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion. 1. Substantial Completion shall be: May 24, 2024 1. Final Completion shall be: May 31, 2024 1. Final Completion shall be when project site is de-mobilized and all project documents listed in CloseOut section of the specifications has been sent to the Owner. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
