West Virginia University ("WVU" or "University") on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors to furnish and install approximately 9,500 square feet of new 060 MIL Reinforced EPDM FR black membrane over a 1/2 inch thick recovery board mechanically fastened to the existing substrate eligible for specified twenty (20) year no-dollar-limit ("NDL") warranty. Questions MUST be submitted directly on the solicitation website on the Q&A Board. Cutoff for Questions DATE: March 6, 2024 TIME: 12:00pm 1. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion. 1. Substantial Completion shall be: July 26, 2024 1. Final Completion shall be: August 2, 2024 1. Final Completion shall be when project site is de-mobilized and all project documents listed in Close-Out section of the specifications has been sent to the Owner. Liquidated Damages 1. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. 1. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
