Renovation of a swimming pool in Portland, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,687-square-foot swimming pool.

As of April 26, 2024 project was awarded to Progressive Commercial Aquatics LLC, awarded amount is $119,227.76. The City of Portland "City" desires to have the existing recreation swimming pool plastered. The pool, which is located at the Portland Aquatic Center, is currently painted with one coat of epoxy paint, with the beach area painted beige, and the remaining area painted white. The pool is an irregular shape with a depth from 0 ft. to 4 ft. and a total of 4,687 sq. ft. See attached Exhibit A-1 and photos. The City isseeking bids from firms interested and qualified to resurface the City's recreation pool in the Portland Aquatic Center located at 2000 Billy G. Webb, Portland, TX 78374. Any Contractor bidding on this project must submit a bid bond for 5% of the bid value along with their bid. In addition, the awarded Contractor shall provide a payment bond if the contract value exceeds $50,000 as well as a performance bond if the contract exceeds $100,000 the event a performance bond and/or a payment bond are required of the Contractor, to be provided before performance can commence, the Contractor must provide a bid bond equal to 5% of the value of the contra Commercial General Liability including: 1.
