Beaufort County requests proposals from all interested firms, licensed in the State of South Carolina, experienced in Hauling, Recycling, and Marketing of Scrap Metal and White Goods The types of services include the following: • On-site work and loading of materials for transportation. • Freon removal • Transportation of white goods and scrap metal to a legal recycling/processing facility • Marketing and sale of recyclable materials • Revenue share of sale of recyclable materials White goods are currently collected at four of the County's Convenient Center (centers) locations (Bluffton, Hilton Head, Shanklin and St. Helena). Materials collected at the centers are periodically transported in roll-off containers to one consolidation point located at 80 Shanklin Road, Beaufort SC 29906. The County will be responsible for the transfer of the material from the convenience centers to this consolidation point. Submit questions you have, at least ten (10) calendar days prior to proposal closing date to Vendor Registry
