As of 5/9/2024, no bids were received. Project will not be rebid. We are looking to build a partition wall to reclaim some of this space for use as a flex-space during our Admin Renovation and for future permanent office space. All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Beaufort County Treasurer of Beaufort County, Beaufort, South Carolina, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the attorney for Beaufort County, South Carolina. Each bond shall be equal one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. A copy of the Bid Bond or Certified Check must be online. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hour Standard Act, and the National Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. Bidders must certify that they do not and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities, which are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Beaufort County reserves the right to reject all proposals and to waive minor informalities and irregularities. The scope of work shall include: o construction of partition wall to divide the existing space o demolition and addition of new doors o paint walls and trim o sheetrock repair as needed o new flooring/carpet o demo existing power poles and add electrical devices o low-voltage/network devices and connections o reconfigure existing lighting, ceiling grid and HVAC registers as necessary o move and modify existing computer desk/counters to fit new space
