Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Machesney Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This work will include pavement removal/installation, fence removal, storm sewer installation, striping and restoration. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court upon review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract. Harlem School District 122 is exempt from Illinois state, municipal, or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. All bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank draft payable to the Harlem School District 122 for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder instructions. Harlem School District 122 reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities.
