Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Machesney Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes but is not limited to the excavation, grading, installation of infield material and seeding of outfield for a softball field. Project also includes installing concrete sidewalks, asphalt paths, fencing, related sitework, and includes an alternate for dugouts. Refer to the Project Manual, Specifications and the Working Drawings for the full extent of the Work that will be required. Work is to be awarded as a single contract. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers and workmen performing work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). A Pre-Bid Conference is not scheduled.
