Newark Housing Authority is accepting sealed bids to "Furnish Labor and Materials To FURNISH MOLD REMEDIATION AND DECONTAMINATION SERVICES AT VARIOUS SITES ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS". Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) procurement. The contract term shall be for two (2) years with an option to extend for one (1) year terms All questions and requests for information must be submitted through the Periscope formerly known as Bid Sync system. The deadline for posting questions and requests about this IFB is Thursday February 29, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. The online system will not accept postings after the deadline set for submitting questions All bids must be accompanied by a negotiable Bid Guarantee payable to the Newark Housing Authority. The bid guarantee may be a certified check, bank draft or a satisfactory Bid Bond secured by a Surety Company acceptable to the U.S. Government and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The guarantee shall be in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount not to exceed $20,000. Consent of Surety must accompany the Bid Guarantee. Failure to submit a 5% Bid Guarantee and a Consent of Surety for the full amount of the bid shall result in the rejection of the bid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 (P.L. 1975 c 127 Affirmative Action). This solicitation is subject to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. and 2 CFR 200 et seq. These bids are being solicited through a Fair and Open Process following N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The N.H.A. also reserves the right to award all or a portion of the award to one (1) or more responsible responsive Bidders. No Bid shall be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Newark
