This request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor/s to provide Theater and Theatrical Stage Lighting, Hardware, and Installation within the Alpine School District. The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor/s to provide Theater and Theatrical Stage Lighting, Hardware, and Installation within the Alpine School District (ASD). The contract resulting from this RFP will be for up to Five ( 5) years. The selected contractor will work closely with the Districts Electrical Department on projects that vary in size and scope. These projects may include but are not limited to the following; new installations, renovations, upgrades, as well as, maintenance and/or repair on existing systems. (Example projects may include, but are not limited to the following; Lamps (LED, Metal Halide, etc.), Power Control, Architectural Control, Networking, DMX Data Distribution, Fixture Accessories, Data and Power Extension Cables, and any hardware related to Theater and Theatrical Lighting) It is anticipated that this RFP will result in multiple contract awards. The methodology or formula that will be used to determine the number of contract awards is: All vendors that reached the minimum threshold of 75 points may be offered a contract. The District will evaluate each vendor against the weighted criteria stated below to determine the vendor/s that will provide the best overall value for the District. The contract shall commence on the date of the RFP award and acceptance by the District. The vendor must guarantee its pricing for One (1) year and may continue for (5) years (detailed explanation in the prerequisites section of RFP under Price Guarantee Period). The contract may be canceled upon giving a thirty (30) day notice due to lack of funding or poor performance.
